Actually, I Don’t Even Watch TV…

Based on everything it knows about me, Amazon.com is recommending to me:

  • Three Philip K. Dick novels.

Remember when everyone’s Tivo thought its user was gay?

My Tivo thinks I’m a robot.

If I read all those novels, I’ll think I’m a robot.

Topical Overload

It’s time for some quick spring cleaning… the topics bar on this blog has gotten out of control. Time to muddy the symantic waters in the name of making things readable.

This shouldn’t break any external links.

Okay, that’s a little less ridiculous now. I’ll probably keep pruning it in the future, to make sure that it grows into the proper shape. It doesn’t seem to have broken links in from external sites (cough… all both of them), so I’ll move forward with impunity.

Comments

Where are my comments? I’m still trying to find a good balance between letting people speak their minds, maintaining an iron fist on my site’s content, and automatically rejecting the (unwanted) nutcakes.

Recent events and the surrounding preparations have rendered this task’s priority low. Okay, and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 has helped. All the same, it’s been very nice to have my own server and my own software control, even if it means that I have to work a little bit harder.

In my hasty ignorance
I didn’t notice!!!

Who Doesn’t?

Do you remember continuations? This seems to be a useful and brief (what a lovely pairing!) review for those of us who lived la vida P.L.C. but never dove headlong into the abyss of Compilers.

I’m Not The Only Strange One, Part I

Whenever she’s in the kitchen, K sings Chiyo-chan’s cooking song from Azumanga Daioh. (In English, thankfully.)
